Authority processes

Each authority has a nominated Quality Mark coordinator (in most cases this is a school adviser) who is the link between the Quality Mark team and the school. Contact the coordinator to find out more information on how the award operates in your authority. Some of the larger authorities have administrative support to manage the support, assessment and review of schools.

The cost for the assessment of the award varies between authorities. The LA coordinator will be able to advise you on charges in your authority.

The Alliance makes an administration charge of £30 when your application is processed.
